Pacific Northwest storage rockers Acid Tongue have launched their first single since their 2021 album Arboretum. Produced by Josh Landau, “Consumerism” is a psychedelic-punk bop with a video directed by James Kimberling. The dopamine-hit message is fairly clear: “Day-after-day I eat extra/ Are you able to inform me what it’s all been for?/ Low cost medication and digital love/ I by no means know when sufficient’s sufficient,” lead singer Man Keltner wails over squalling guitars.
“Consumerism” will seem on Acid Tongue’s forthcoming fourth LP, Acid On The Dance Flooring, which can be produced by Landau and drops later this 12 months. Hearken to and watch “Consumerism” beneath.
